This salve gets its light scent and reddish tint from the ground red sandalwood tree bark that is added to this salve. Although we do make a sandalwood salve year round, this Limited Edition Smooth Sandalwood Salve stands out, as it includes extra ingredients which give it a creamier texture than our regular Sandalwood Salve. Because real sandalwood powder is used in the making of this salve, you can expect to find the powder set at the very bottom of the tin.
