Macedonia SDA Church Building Project
Macedonia SDA Church Needs Your Help
This past May (2026), I (Victoria) and my family had the privilege of participating in some evangelistic efforts hosted at the welcoming Macedonia SDA Church in Palawan, Philippines.
Upon arriving, we noticed that the church is not yet completed, and we were told that the reason is due to lack of funds, and it has been this way for a few years.
Before the Macedonia church was built, members were meeting in another structure, but it would frequently flood, causing difficulties during gatherings.
The current church was built during the pandemic (2020/2021), but construction was halted due to lack of funds. The church members have been consistently giving out of their own pockets, but it has been difficult to reach the needed funds to continue the large project.
The church elders said that about $5,000 is needed to close in the building. Other projects include completing the floors (now partly cemented) and getting pews for the half of the church that lacks them.
While there, we were glad to see 11 people get happily baptized after two months of Bible study. We would like to support this building project so not only current members, but future ones can gather each week in a completed church.
