Why Delay?

The distractions many

Eyes wandering

Searching

The heart too

From one thing 

To the next

And yet satisfaction is not found

What to do? 

Where to go?

Keeping busy

Professing happiness

Empty inside

Why?

Doing as you wish

Knowing it won’t last

At what cost?

There’s One who is waiting

Waiting

Patiently 

“I won’t force my way” 

He says

“But I’ll be here”

“I am the way

The truth

The life”
